Look a little closer

Little things to discover.

  1. Meet their sea family

People sometimes call them starfish, but sea stars are not fish. They are relatives of sea urchins and sand dollars.

  2. Tiny feet underneath

Sea stars move using tiny tube feet on the underside of their bodies.

  3. More than one star shape

Sea stars can have different numbers of arms. Some kinds have more than five!
